The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office provides programs in a wide variety of subject areas. Each class is conducted by a JSO member and presented free of charge to public and private groups within Duval County, Florida, and are tailored to the specific audience.

Event requests must be made 30 days or more before the requested event date. If you are requesting multiple programs, please submit a separate request for each program and the anticipated date for that presentation. Thank you!

If you work at a school and would like to have an officer talk to students regarding safety education, please select the topic that you are interested in

Anti-Bullying: This program is geared towards preventing bullying among elementary and middle school age children. Officer Friendly: This program is taught to elementary level students and encourages positive interactions with law enforcement. Red Ribbon Week (October): Speaking to elementary children during Drug Free Week Safety Patrol Training: Teaches 5th graders about traffic safety, safety procedures, and leadership. Stranger Danger: Taught to pre-school and elementary level in the effort to teach children about strangers.

Blight Training: Taught in an effort to teach the public about blight and what citizens should do if they observe blight related activity in their area. Senior Citizen Safety: Discussion with senior citizens in regards to personal safety and crime prevention. Identity Theft: Discussion about ways to help safeguard your personal information Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.): Research-based active shooter response training
