This Saturday, January 17, 2026, Sheriff T.K. Waters, members of his staff, and community partners are scheduled to walk in the Lakewood area of Jacksonville, Florida. During the walk, the Sheriff will meet with citizens one-on-one to discuss their concerns in their area of town.
The walk will start at 10:30 a.m. Participants are asked to park at Lakewood Presbyterian Church, 2001 University Boulevard West, Jacksonville, FL 32217. [Directions]
Neighborhoods selected for the walks are determined by the district commanders based on many criteria, including feedback from citizens, crime acivity in the area, or a request.
