Lem Turner Smoke Shop Turned Drug House Busted; Dealers Arrested
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) District 6 patrol officers took multiple pounds of illegal drugs off our streets after a bust at a smoke shop.
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, officers responded to a smoke shop off Lem Turner Road after receiving information a wanted drug trafficker out of Gainesville was inside. When the officers arrived, they found plenty of illegal drugs and guns in plain view.
Here’s what we found:
- 600 grams of Meth Pills
- 500 grams of Meth Crystals
- 3 grams of Cocaine
- 10 pounds of Marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
- 5 firearms
- $8,000 in cash
Collaborating with JSO's narcotics detectives, officers took the wanted drug trafficker, 21-year-old Frank Maddox, into custody. Anthony Denson, 33, was also arrested for multiple drug offenses related to this case.
