Fatal Hit-and-Run One Year Later - Help JSO Find Answers
On Friday, July 26, 2024, around 5:30 a.m., 27-year-old Morgan Drew Kohn was on his early morning walk when a pickup truck hit him at the intersection of Collins Road and Schindler Drive. The driver of that truck did not stop; Kohn passed away from his injuries.
Recently, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) Strategic Communications team sat down with Kohn's loved ones as the search continues for the driver involved. Detectives in JSO's Traffic Homicide Unit continue to investigate this tragedy, but need the public's help.
