Information Sought in May 2025 Hit-And-Run
On Monday, May 26, 2025, just prior to midnight, officers found an individual lying in an alley behind a business on Merrill Road near Townsend Boulevard. The man was subsequently pronounced deceased and was identified as 40-year-old Brandon Venegas.
Detectives responded and it was determined that Venegas had been struck by a vehicle which ultimately caused his death. The investigation led to the discovery of surveillance footage from the area showing what is believed to be the vehicle involved: a white mid-size SUV.
